Full disclosure: I work in a public library. That means I see lots of interesting items and most often will check them out. Some items come home and I devour them. Other items I will glance at, skim, speed-read/listen. But a majority of the items come home, sit, get moved from table to table, then get returned unopened, unread, unlistened to or unwatched. Oh well…at least I know the items exist and where to find them next time. This will serve as a record of my library card (and in place of the many well-meaning notes with title names that I lose).
